On June 18, the Party for Socialism and Liberation announced that Cathy Rojas was running for mayor of New York to fight for a city for all — not the rich. Rojas is a high school history teacher, organizer, Queens native, the daughter of two Colombian immigrants, a New York public school graduate and socialist.
