Hotel workers call for boycott to win new contract

On July 27, around 1,500 Hotel workers in San Francisco held a spirited march calling for a boycott of 13 of the most luxurious hotels in the city. They have been working without a labor contract since 2004. Represented by UNITE HERE, Local 2, the struggle is about healthcare, workload protection, cost of living increases, a decent pension and dignity on the job. Members of the Party for Socialism and Liberation participated in the action.
