U.S. giving military boost to Middle East client states

The United States has plans for $20 billion in sales of advance weaponry to Persian Gulf allies and 10-year military aid

“All U.S. efforts are for the creation of differences among our brothers in the region to impose its ideas and hegemony,” commented Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.


“The United States is bringing billions of dollars worth of arms to ignite wars in this region,” added Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah.


Ahmadinejad has defended Iran’s right to nuclear energy in face of U.S. threats, while Nasrallah played a key leadership role in the defeat of the 2006 U.S.-Israeli summer offensive against Lebanon.
