Liberation News spoke with a woman  who Googled “Seattle protests” and came out for the first time, feeling she “just had to do something.”

Liberation also interviewed Cynthia, a Mohawk woman who was drumming and had a sign reading “Palestinians R Indigenous.” She explained, “The situation of Palestinians aligns with our situation as Native Indians. We are indigenous, Palestinians are indigenous. Mohawks stand with Palestine and our hearts are with them. “
