We need your help and you can make a
difference.

Join us in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 21,
the day of the Inauguration and the day remembering the birth of Dr.
Martin Luther King, at Freedom Plaza and along the Inaugural Parade
route.

Be prepared to get up early and dress warmly. You will work
hard but you will have the satisfaction of making a difference.

We are making sure that the demands and needs of the people
are visible. We are demanding a massive jobs program, a moratorium of home
foreclosures and a cancellation of student debt to the banks that caused the
economic crisis that plunged millions into poverty.

We are also demanding an end to the Military-Industrial
Complex, which drains nearly $1 trillion a year for war, invasion and occupation.

We will be holding banners and signs condemning the
increasingly common practice of drone assassinations in the Middle East, Asia and
Africa. Drone strikes are war crimes. The U.S. president – whoever holds the
office – has no legal right to establish a secret kill list and determine who
lives and who dies. More than 3,000 people have been murdered by U.S. drone attacks.

Dr. King was a fighter for the people. One cannot truly
honor his name and simultaneously pursue political policies that favor the
banks, the elites and the Pentagon over the unemployed, students and the
elderly.

Dr. King agitated, organized and mobilized the people to
hold all the politicians accountable. Let’s maintain his legacy by having the
strongest possible presence on the Inaugural Parade route.
