TOMORROW, APRIL 13
Vote Stevie Merino
for Mayor of Long Beach
!
Send a Message: It’s Time to Put People’s Needs Before Profits!

Tomorrow, April 13, Long Beach has a chance to break out of politics as usual and send a message to the corporations,Stevie final vote banks and their political managers that rule over us. Long Beach’s incumbent mayor, Bob Foster promises more of the same. More cuts, more layoffs, more homelessness, more police repression. Foster, a former private utility executive, will leave the oil companies and the greedy corporations in charge of Long Beach. He doesn’t offer any real program for working-class people.

Millions of people in this country are denied the right to vote due to their immigration status, age or past criminal charges. Millions more don’t vote, discouraged by a political system rigged against them. But if you can vote, and you are registered in Long Beach, we urge you to cast your vote for the PSL candidate Stevie Danielle Merino. She is a worker, a student and a passionate community organizer. She represents the program of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and speaks in the interests of workers and poor people. Vote socialist on April 13!

The PSL Stevie Merino campaign has been covered widely in all the Long Beach media (click here to read news coverage).

The campaign has been endorsed by the Green Party of Long Beach, the Peace and Freedom Party, and community groups such as AF3IRM/GABNet, KmB Pro-People Youth and Students Fight Back.
